1. Introduction
At Modern Mindset, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for refunds, exchanges, and cancellations related to digital products, courses, coaching services, and other offerings available through our website.
We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to request a refund. This policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business, while maintaining the high quality of service we strive to provide.
2. Digital Products
2.1 E-Books, Guides, and Downloadable Resources
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of e-books, guides, worksheets, templates, and other downloadable resources are final and non-refundable once the download has been initiated or the digital product has been delivered to your account or email address.
However, if you experience technical issues accessing or downloading your purchased digital product, please contact us within 7 days of purchase, and we will assist you in resolving the issue or provide a replacement.
2.2 Technical Issues
If you encounter technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing or using a digital product you've purchased, please contact our support team at info@modernmindset.ca. We will work with you to resolve the issue or, if necessary, provide a replacement copy of the digital product.
3. Online Courses and Programs
3.1 Self-Paced Courses
For self-paced online courses:
- 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have completed no more than 25% of the course content.
- To qualify for a refund: You must submit a written request explaining why the course did not meet your expectations and demonstrating that you have engaged with the course materials (e.g., completed initial lessons, attempted coursework).
- No refunds will be issued: After the 14-day period has expired, if you have completed more than 25% of the course, or if you have downloaded all course materials.
3.2 Cohort-Based or Live Courses
For cohort-based or live online courses:
- Before course begins: Full refund available up to 7 days before the course start date.
- Within 7 days of start date: 75% refund available.
- After course begins: No refunds available once the course has begun, unless there are extenuating circumstances (see section 6).
- Course transfers: You may transfer your enrollment to the next available cohort (if applicable) up to 7 days before the course start date, subject to availability.
4. Coaching and Consulting Services
4.1 One-on-One Coaching Sessions
For individual coaching sessions:
- Cancellation with 48+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
- Cancellation with 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund or rescheduling without penalty.
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice: No refund, though rescheduling may be possible at our discretion.
- No-shows: No refund or rescheduling for missed appointments without prior notice.
4.2 Coaching Packages
For multi-session coaching packages:
- Before first session: Full refund available up to 7 days after purchase, provided no sessions have been scheduled or conducted.
- After first session: Partial refund available for unused sessions, less a 25% administrative fee.
- No refunds: After 50% or more of the package sessions have been conducted.
4.3 Group Coaching Programs
For group coaching programs:
- Before program begins: Full refund available up to 7 days before the program start date.
- Within 7 days of start date: 75% refund available.
- After program begins: No refunds after the program has begun, unless there are extenuating circumstances (see section 6).
5. Workshops and Events
5.1 Virtual Workshops and Webinars
For virtual workshops and webinars:
- More than 7 days before event: Full refund available.
- 3-7 days before event: 50% refund available.
- Less than 3 days before event: No refunds, but you may transfer your ticket to another person or receive access to the recording (if available).
5.2 In-Person Events
For in-person workshops and events:
- More than 14 days before event: Full refund available.
- 7-14 days before event: 75% refund available.
- 3-7 days before event: 50% refund available.
- Less than 3 days before event: No refunds, but you may transfer your ticket to another person.
Please note that for both virtual and in-person events, if we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.
6. Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that life can be unpredictable. In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other significant unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from participating in a course, program, or coaching session, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a solution, which may include:
- Transferring to a future course or program
- Extending your access period
- Providing a partial refund
- Offering a credit toward future purchases
Documentation may be required to verify extenuating circumstances.
7. Subscriptions
7.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscription services:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@modernmindset.ca.
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the current billing period.
7.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription services:
- You may cancel your annual subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not extensively accessed or downloaded content.
- After 14 days, annual subscriptions may be cancelled, but no refund will be issued for the remaining unused portion of the subscription term.
8. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team at info@modernmindset.ca with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Email address used for purchase
- Order number or receipt
- Name of the product or service purchased
- Date of purchase
- Reason for requesting a refund
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days
9. Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible
- Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider
- For credit card payments, refunds may take an additional 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement, depending on your credit card company

Modern Mindset reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
